Abstract:
The polysaccharides were extracted from Pleurotus eryngii by alkali solution, then were modified by sulfation, phosphorylation, and acetylation. The corresponding antitumor activities have been studied. The structure of modified and unmodified Pleurotus eryngii alkali polysaccharide (PEAP) was tested by the infrared spectroscopy. Then the antitumor ability were tested by MTT assay in vitro. The results show that the characteristic absorption peaks of sulfuric group, phosphate group and acetyl group were observed respectively. The ability of the anti-tumor Human Leukemia Cell K562 activity of the chemical modified PEAP were all improved and the acetylated modified PEAP (Ac-PEAP) has the best inhibitory ability.
