Abstract:
Taking the tourism economic development of 16 cities in the Yangtze River Delta for the study object,the overall economic difference of tourism economy and the changeable tendency of 16 cities in the Yangtze River Delta are analyzed by means of standard deviation, variation coefficient and other methods. Primary index are also used to analyze the structure of tourism scale, and study the spatial and temporal evolution of tourism economy development.Simultaneously, the factors affecting tourism economy in time and space are fully explained in terms of tourist attraction resources, level of socio-economic development and transportation. Research found that (1) In the Yangtze River Delta, absolute differences of tourism economy are gradually enlarging while relative differences are gradually reducing as a whole. And prominent central position of Shanghai in tourism mainly results in differences between Shanghai and other cities.Specifically, the spatial structure comes into form in which Shanghai being the center , and Hangzhou, Nanjing, and Suzhou acting as sub-centers;(2) There exist spatial differentiations, that are dislocation type and matched type, between tourism economy development level and status of the tourism industry in Yangtze River Delta;(3) Inbound tourists of the Yangtze River Delta decentralized increasingly, and it is gradually spread outward from the center of the city.
