Abstract:
Based on 20 meteorological sites of temperature and precipitation data from 1955 to 2011 in Shaanxi province, the spatial and temporal characteristics of temperature and precipitation are analyzed by using simple linear regression, inverse distance weighted interpolation (IDW), the optimal partition method and other mathematical methods. The Thornthwaite Memorial model is utilized to calculate the climate productivity of Shaanxi province. Then, the temporal and spatial features are studied, as well as the relationships among the climate productivity, temperature, precipitation and other climatic factors are discussed. Results showed that the climate of Shaanxi province from 1955 to 2011, presented the trend of warm and dry, with the ratio of 0.16 ℃ / 10 a and -17.2 mm /10 a for temperature and precipitation, respectively.Spatially speaking, the south is high and the north is low. The climate productivity displayed a faint drop, decreasing from the south to the north, and the valley value occured in 1960s and 1990s.It has no significant correlation between climate productivity and temperature, but climate productivity is extremely significant correlated with precipitation, and precipitation reduction is a major limited factor of climate productivity.
