Abstract:
Using SiO2 as the core, the cladding structure of CeO2@SiO2 composites were prepared by homogeneous precipitation method, and the influences of CeO2 coating amount, reaction time, burning temperature on the formation of the composite abrasives were investigated. The results indicate that the composite particles were coated uniformly, dispersed perfectly, sized appropriately as 7.02 g of Ce(NO3)36H2O was used. After 2 h reaction the basic structure forms, and the particles have a narrow size distribution. The particles with sphericity was obtained at 500 ℃.The prepared samples were analyzed using X-ray diffraction dynamic light scattering analyzer and laser nanometer particle size analyzer.
