Abstract:
To extract the seed oil of Pistacia chinensis and to optimize the technological parameters for preparing biodiesel,in the presence of the catalyst, biodiesel was synthesized from Pistacia Chinensis seed oil by transesterification, the optimum conditions of transesterification was obtained by L9(34) orthogonal experiments. The main constituents and physico-chemical performance of biodiesel was determined. The results show that using petroleum ether as solvent and ultrasonic extraction 35 min, the oil yield can reach more than 50%.The optimum reaction conditions are as follows: molar ratio of alcohol to oil is 4∶1, mass ratio of the catalyst to the oil is 1.6%, reaction time and reaction temperature are 60 min and 40 ℃,respectively. Under the conditions, the yield of biodiesel was 98.74%. The performance of the produced biodiesel is coloses to No.0 diesel.
