Traditional anonymous communication is facing a new challenge under the data based interactive mode and the mobile internet with dynamic topology, network coding provides a new perspective to change this state. After studying the available methods of traditional anonymous communication, the principles and characteristics of anonymous communication based on network coding are summarized, related work on anonymous routing protocols and global encoding vectors is analyzed as well, and finally the development trend in methods of anonymous communication with network coding is discussed.
