Abstract:
In order to detect the complex gas mixtures, the gas sensing method based on the decomposition features of acoustic relaxation absorption spectra is proposed.By decomposing the mixtures acoustic spectra into the individual spectra contributed by the corresponding gas compositions, the dependence of the decomposition spectral peak amplitudes on the gas compositions can be extracted, and the relative change ratio as temperature changes of the peak amplitudes is introduced as identification parameter for qualitative and quantitative gas detections. The method employs the decomposition spectral peak amplitudes as the relaxation features and achieves feature identification of multiple component gas mixtures, providing a new route for the simple, robust, effective and real-time acoustic gas sensing method.
