Abstract:
The ecosystem of arid inland river basin is closely related to the development of human society. The sustainable supply of ecosystem services in inland river basin is significant to the construction of regional, national and global ecological security pattern. The study of ecosystem services in inland river basin provides theoretical basis and scientific guidance for coordinating the relationship between human well-being and basin ecology. Based on the previous research, the current achievements on ecosystem services at home and abroad were systematically reviewed. The connotation of the regional ecosystem service research was clarified based on the characteristics of inland river basins. Then, the current progress was summarized from the aspects of evaluation method, driving mechanism and management application. Some comments on the problems existed were provided and the future research directions of ecosystem services in inland river basins were prospected. The aim was to strengthen the theoretical basis, build a fully applicable framework for ecosystem services evaluation and provide strong support for the optimal management in inland river basins.
