Comparative Study on Ten Different Fixation Solutions Effects on Histochemistry Staining

Abstract:
Ten different fixation solutions were used to animal liver tissue in order to reveal their effect on immunohistochemistry. Our study can provide valuable information to improve high quality experiment section. Animal liver tissue were fixed using ten different fixation solutions, and liver cell were stained by histochemistry methods. The morphology of liver cell were recorded by microscope. The results showed that all of ten different fixation solutions can be used to fix animal liver tissue. According to the results of liver cell morphology, 4% formalin and 4% paraformalin and 4% neutral formalin have better effect, then the AF fixation solution and Carnoy fixation solution could be appropriately used, and AAF,AFA,EAF fixation、Bouin fixation solution should not be used.4% formalin is the best fixation solution, which can easily obtained and conveniently used.
