Abstract:
In The Twentyfour Styles of Poetry, Sikong Tu predicted an otherworldly and integrated Taoist realm. He expressed his theory of poetic aesthetics based on Taoist experience and his realm of experiencing Taoism with a description of Taoist realm, the subject’s transcendent mind, Taoist exhibition and “perfect” creation of poetic realm. Meanwhile, the work drew an outline of the Taoist realm—mind—poetic line and elaborated how to integrate poetic realm with Taoist realm, which reveals the characteristic of Chinese mindbased Taoist poetics in ancient times.
