Abstract:
The idea of time and space expressed in the Legendary Story of “Stranding in the Fairy Land by Flood”, similar to worldpopular science fiction and movies, is astonishingly in conformity to that advocated in the theory of relativity of modern physics. Literary intuitive thinking and scientific logical thinking share internal uniformity as the results of human common spiritual practice. To begin with, literary narration and science don’t differ in fiction or nonfiction, so the legend as an accumulated literary narrative just described the changes of framework of our understanding in different times. Next, part of the original images in literary description was determined by the inherited genetic information of human life, which was scientific or metaphorical as scientific facts. Moreover, literature and science were both directed by the same mode of thinking. Finally, our understanding of the relationship between literature and science needs to be deepened in anthropological traditions of local knowledge by breaking the modernistic binary framework of human knowledge.
