Reportage literature, which was shaped by combining newspaper style and literary text under the circumstances of war, is an important part of Yan’an literature. The flourishing of this style was the necessary result from the disseminative ecology of the revolutionary war constructed jointly by the media, audience and mainstream ideology. Therefore, it was the revolutionary war that brought about the current reportage literature, but it was the political realistic content to express and the extremely advertising and agitating disseminative effects to produce that made the style most directly and realistically present the key historical incidents and personalities. In this sense, the current reportage literature actually realized the primary value of journalism literature as historical text and historical document.
