Abstract:
In the long course of history, the many goals our nation had always pursued was based on the conception of “prospering the nation and consolidating power”. Since the start of the new century, “the people’s livelihood” became the favorable choice of goals of development. The view of scientific development points out that the introduction of “the people’s livelihood” as the current goal of national development is an indication of the establishment of the subject of people’s livelihood politics and a strategic design to promote political development without basing it on the focus of dispute on basic institutions, which occurred for the first time after the founding of the People’s Republic. The subject of the people’s livelihood development covers such basic aspects as solving specific problems in the people’s livelihood by a men-based principle, and assuring civic rights. And the significance of the subject lies in opening up the new field of “life politics”, developing a civic culture loyal to the basic institutions but not to others and better attaining the criterion of government for the people.
