中国远古美学研究的若干问题

摘要:
近年来,学界关于中国远古美学问题的探讨有渐趋复苏之势,这使与此相关的一系列理论问题有了重新订正的必要:首先是中国美学的远古发端问题,其次是美与中国史前文明的共生关系以及审美共同体的形成。以此为背景,中国社会早期的天下观为远古美学勾勒出了初始范型,原始农耕文明确立的人地关系为其提供了本质规定,器物纹饰强烈的视觉表现意图则意味着美的呈现在当时具备了自觉性。对于这一独特历史时段的美学考察,单纯依靠传世文献和考古资料的互参互证是不够的,还必须借助哲学对材料使用的有效性进行验证,并为美的演进史建立逻辑秩序。

Several Issues of Study of Chinese Ancient Aesthetics

Abstract:
In recent years, Chinese academic world has tended to gradually revive ancient aesthetics of China, which makes it necessary to revise a series of related theoretical issues. What comes first is the ancient origin of Chinese aesthetics, then the mutualistic relationship between beauty and Chinese pre-historic civilization and the shaping of aesthetic community. Under this context, the view of the world of early Chinese society helped outline the initial pattern of ancient aesthetics, the relation between men and land established by the primitive civilization of agriculture offered essential prescriptions, and the strong intention of visual expression in patterns on the objects meant the current self-consciousness of expressing beauty. Therefore, it is far from enough to merely depend on mutual reference and mutual verification between preserved documents and archeological materials for a proper investigation of aesthetics in such a distinctive period of history. Also philosophy ought to be introduced to testify the effectiveness of material use and a logical procedure to be established for the evolution of aesthetics.
