Abstract:
Classical Marxist theorists failed to specifically theorize a model of socialist development, but they embodied some hypothesis of “a multiple model of socialist development” in their works. Soviet model of socialism played a n active role in the history of socialist development both in Soviet and the world over, but involved some malpractices. After Cold War, the Communist Parties in other parts of the world, by examining experience and lesson in Soviet model, all agreed that, since there is no fixed model for socialism, the Communist Parties all over the world should adopt multiple roads of socialist development appropriate to their own countries according to different circumstances of different nations. Besides, they all speak highly of the “Chinese Model” which attracts high concern the world over.
