Abstract:
A leading branch of histogeography, commercial histogeography, which grew out of commercial geography, studies geographical phenomena and laws of human business activities in different phases of time. In other words, it is a science that explores the correlation between human business activities on the surface of Earth and various geographical factors in different phases of time. Commercial histogeography shows concern with spatial differences of regional commodity productions in different phases of time and changes, business routes and conditions of goods transportation, regional patterns of market distribution and regional goods circulation and marketing wards. It is related to commercial geography, commercial economics and commercial history but differs essentially from them. Thus close attention should be paid to this newemerged study to multiply the system of histogeography and enhance development of regional commercial economy by exploring laws of business in history.
