Abstract:
The view of the origin of instant is Buddhist primary conception to dominate all doctrines and explain Buddhist theories. According to the origin of instant, Wang Fuzhi recognized the meaning of circulation prior to vanishing of the eight senses in consciousnessonly study, which showed that Wang established a double dharmadhatu of the oigin of instant and the subject of dharmat by absorbing and transforming the consciousnessonly theory by the sect of Xiang. To approach his research view that all Buddhist doctrines and reasons generated consciousness only and presented themselves in the world developed and analyze and reveal features of Wang’s consciousnessonly theory in The Pursuit of the Context of the Sect of Xiang, we should try to interpret his research purpose and important theoretical significance to introduce Buddhist thoughts into Confucianism, especially his attempt of absorbing the consciousnessonly idea into Confucian study of morals to establish a system of Confucian theory.
