Abstract:
With Catholic Church as its faith, NeoShilin philosophy fuses Old and Middle Shilin Philosophy, NeoShilin and Chinese traditional philosophy. Being a theistic philosophic school in modern Chinese philosophic world, NeoShilin philosophy has become the most disputable and characteristic of its accommodation of “faith” and “reasoning”. To break the status quo of general introduction faced by study of NewShilin Philosophy in Taiwan so as to give it an objective evaluation and identification, we must establish its iconic philosophic concepts under the guide of its faith and examine the historical place and influence of these concepts by deeply exploring the representative ideological systems and clarifying the background of their faith.
