Abstract:
Among the historical documents “with small words with big meaning” in times of the Spring and Autumn and Warring Kingdoms, the Chapter of “I was determined to devote myself to learning at the age of fifteen” in “Administration of The Analects” was the only one to completely the periodic aims and basic means of lifetime learning. The chapter recorded Confucian selfnarration of his lifetime education since fifteen years old and also showed a process a process of the steady elevation of spiritual vision. In this process, a person cannot hope to reach the summit of human development unless he has both longterm and periodic aims, and clear direction and basic means of development.
