Abstract:
China’s modern literature and art and aesthetics were established and developed by following a WesternJapaneseChinese operative mode and course to a great degree. What follows are the leading Japanese elements that influenced the evolution of China’s modern literature and art and aesthetics: First of all, since Meiji Restoration, Japan transplanted large quantities of western works of theory of literature the art and aesthetics, which provided the lost and exploring Chinese modern literature and art and aesthetics with precious academic resources. Next, Chinese traditional literary theory and aesthetic thought really needed all this realize its modern transformation. Finally, owing to similarities between Chinese and Japanese cultures, there was enough room for mutual understanding between Chinese modern literature and art and aesthetics and Japanese counterparts.
