Abstract:
As a cultural context facing humanistic studies, “posttheory” poses an important issue concerning development of literary theory and literary study, which is believed to determine the means and alteration of literary knowledge production to a certain degree. “Posttheory” occurs as the sign of the end of the former age of ideological production and the coming of the new turn of theoretical values. It offers a basis for the shaping of knowledge prospect of literary theory by changing the knowledge outlook, knowledge pattern and theoretical features of literary theory and promoting its knowledge production. Moreover, posttheory shows concern with more diverse forms towards cultural politics and public realm by laying more emphasis on reflectivity and depth and synthesis of ideological production and on high selfconsciousness in orientation and option of values.
