Abstract:
Located deep in inland China, Xi’an badly lacks water resources. In recent years, lack of water even becomes the bottleneck restricting Xi’an’s further development. This paper makes a careful analysis of the existing problems in exploiting and utilizing Xi’an’s water resources. Based on the results of analysis, the author offers several recommendations to optimize arrangements and remit Xi’an’s serious lack of water resources, including implementing a mechanism of multiple water prices, extensively popularizing the watereconomizing intelligent card, establishing a longterm cooperative mechanism with industries and enterprises by further completing the system of supervision and management.
