Liu Zongyuan was a wellknown man of letters and literary educationist in the midst of the Tang Dynasty. The fine mechanism of literary education and favorable environment gave him excellent literary education, promoting him in shaping good literary accomplishments and well developing his literary writing. A vigorous literary educationist, Liu cultivated the growth of literary writers with his thought and practice of literary education and enhanced development of poetic writing in his day, playing an active role in shaping and evolution of the many literary phenomena in the midst of the Tang Dynasty.
