Abstract:
In this paper educational justice is discussed as the essential underpinning value and principle to initiate and regulate educational innovation, especially the innovation of education institutions. Educational justice is one of the radical norms to value the reconstruction of institutions of education and the direction of education practice. According to the principle we ought to pursue justice in two aspects, the justice in educative activities which treat the educatees in moral right way and the justice as fairness in distribution of educational resources and opportunities. With this theoretical ground, this paper thinks that the education innovation occurred in the three decades in China neglected educational justice and enlarged social inequality and injustice by the wrong policies and ways to reform education. In order to build a just and decent education and society, we need to refine our education institutions by the adherence of educational justice.
