Abstract:
The blog has opened up a we the media age with individuals as disseminative centre. The blog’s decentralized disseminative pattern and high autonomy make more and more people tell accounts of what they are not willing or ashamed to speak out in realistic life in their bolgs, which represents people’s tendency of selfexposure on web blogs. This study discovers that blog writers tend to expose themselves at three levels. First of all, the blog writers are likely to expose their initial impressions on others at an audiovisual level. Next, they expose their own interests, hobbies and networks in their blog writings at a level of blog text. Finally, the blogs expose themselves in a mobile way by exchange with blog audience at an interactive level. The blog’s anonymity, high selfcontrol and singleness to adjust interpersonal relationships in blogs are all responsible for selfexposure psychology in blogs.
