Abstract:
The whole “theme of writing” in Lu Yao’s literary world came from his deep consideration of the contemporary destiny of traditional culture. In The Common World His “modernistic” observations of the means of existence and state of life of common people, especially farmers, characteristically represented his ideological orientation and aesthetic judgment of traditional culture. As a result, all his writings unbosomed himself of neverridden psychological contradiction and bewilder to painfully and “enthusiastically” depart with the past. All this shaped the primary tune and internal tension of Lu’s literary world.
