Abstract:
Development of Chinese classic biographies was not merely under the influence of politics, economy and culture of the current society but also in close relation with psychology of our nation, including close attention to realistic psychology, psychology of ancestry worship, psychology of hero worship and psychology of immortalization. All psychological tendencies exercised certain effects on selection of characters, materials and historical facts in classic biographies.
