Abstract:
:The subject of histogeographical study went through great changes in the history of development of the discipline, and so did its theory and approach. In recent years, a number of histogeographical researchers began to get involved in such historical and sociological areas as social structure, social changes and social control and attempted to interpret some historical and sociological issues in terms of histogeography. Similarly, some historians, sociologists, cultural scholars and ethnographers tried to investigate issues of their own in terms of geographical environment and relationship between men and land. As a result, histogeography as a traditional discipline has now become a methodology to observing and analyzing issues concerning development of human society.
