Abstract:
Constant academic studies have revealed the rich historical implications of the relationship between the “Fox” and the “Huns” but it is still necessary to continuously infer and exploit this disputable issue. The proverb that it was an evil omen when a fox cries towards its hole, which was said to have caused the conflict between Geshuhan and An Lushan, was not an allusion from Chinese but from Turk classics. This is because Geshuhan didn’t know much about the allusion that the fox dies at its dwelling hill and the trend of despising “the Huns” as the “fox”. The different observations of the relationship between the “Fox” and the “Huns” between Geshuhan and An Lushan revealed the abundant distribution of the character of fox culture.
