This paper lays its focus of exploration on the relationship between media and literature, in which literary development and change are to be investigated in terms of media. As a matter of fact, most current phenomena in the literary world have resulted from development of media. This shows that media and literature are symbionts, and literature won’t occur without media, let alone its dissemination. Development and change of media as an instrumental carrier can thoroughly change the form of existence, productive means and arrangement of dissemination of literature. Therefore, what we should consider and analyze deeply is the deeplying causes of media for the decline of traditional literature and the growth of new media literature.
