Abstract:
The synthesizer of NeoConfucianism in the North and the South Song Dynasty, Zhu Xi’s ideology has remained to be the emphasis of NeoConfucianism in the North and the South Song Dynasty and the Ming Dynasty. However, for study of Zhu Xi’s spiritual world, the academic world, after so many years of diverse explorations, has naturally turned to studies of shaping of its originality and occurrent study of Zhu’s philosophy, in other words, how Zhu’s philosophic vision, ideological system and profound and deep historical influence occurred and shaped. Under such circumstances, his academic character, the ideological genealogy he succeeded, the theoretical discussion and disputes he had in his lifetime and his interpretation of the classics all face necessity of reinterpretation. All theses are just the fundamental prerequisites to make access to Zhu Xi’s theoretical world.
