Abstract:
The conception of psychological growth is revolutionary to the conception of psychological development. Developmental psychology in studies of human psychology investigates and examines the development of human psychology. However, there has always been some significant missing link in studies of developmental psychology, which is to be compensated for as an important academic mission in the future advancement of the scholarship. Mental psychology substitutes the conception of psychological growth for the conception of psychological development, which marks a leading theoretical transition in investigating human psychological behaviour. This study shifts the emphasis from maturity and development to growth and promotion, from biological and physical to psychological and mental study, from straightline development and wholesome extension and from horizontal extension to vertical elevation.
