“Remonstrating Paper”, “Remonstrating Report”, and “Remonstrating Draft” in the Tang Poems and the Norm of Remonstration in the Tang Dynasty

Abstract:
The system of remonstration in the Tang Dynasty was of special significance in Chinese history of political institutions. This system was relatively complete and normalized, which made it an important executive means. Since most of the poets in the Tang Dynasty shared the experience of working as remonstrating officials, their poems accordingly involved the matter of norms of the system of remonstration, some of them could compensate for the blank in historical record.
