Abstract:
For a long time Marxist historical determinism has unreasonably been distorted as unscientific fatalism and mechanical economic determinism. In fact, however, the practice of initiative “realistic men” is the determinative factor of both substantial and spiritual production, so realistic men and their practical activities are the ultimate dynamo of development of human society. From the above, Marxist historical determinism is neither unscientific nor mechanical but a scientific causal determinism.
