Abstract:
An active advocate and theory founder of the cause of literary translation of Chinese proletariat revolution in the early 1930’s, Qu Qiubai’s conception of translation, that is, his recognition and understanding of and requirements for translation, directly influenced the achievements of revolutionary translation in the day. Qu’s critical opinions about translation works and collected discussions on translation conception offer us an ocean of precious historical experience today.
