Abstract:
The theory of “semantic overlapping” means a breakthrough from traditional lexicology in explaining the means of semantic derivation. Unfortunately, current examples quoted in many works testifying this theory are not well justifiable, which has resulted from lack of extensive investigation of literature and failure in deep examination and analysis of semantic system of words.
