维特根斯坦对“说明”和“理解”的重新思考

摘要:

维特根斯坦对“说明”与“理解”的研究可以用“实践的转向”来刻画。20世纪初西方学术界有一种相当流行的看法，认为“说明”是自然科学的目标纲领，而“理解”是社会科学的目标纲领。维特根斯坦的研究表明“说明”与“理解”在实践中的统一，从而反驳了这种二元论的观点。

Wittgenstein's Reconsideration of "Explanation" and "Understanding"

Abstract:

Wittgenstein's study of "explanation" and "understanding" can be summarized as "turning to practice". However, it was commonly believed in Western academic world in the early 20th century that "explanation" was the program objective of natural science while "understanding" that of social sciences. Unfortunately, a study of Wittgenstein shows that "explanation" and "understanding" are to be integrated in practice, hence a refutation to the abovementioned dualistic theory.
