Abstract:
Sentimental and homesick writing of current females in Taiwan shows a development and transcendence to traditional female writing based on the May-4th female writing. Their writing of modernistic paradox and acceptance of rules of worldly life presents the obscure and involved internal content of modern humanism. Under the influence of feminism, female writing is characteristic of advocating a new female consciousness of self-supporting and self-improving, and revealing the complex situation faced by females in modern polybasic ideologies. Female writing based on “what females show concern with morally” and the care ethic that “females are filled with care and concern about others in the course of psychological growth” shows the individual orientation of meaning and ideology of females in Hong Kong and Taiwan, expanding and enriching cultural content of female literary writing.
