Abstract:
Social justice is an eternal political and philosophic concern. However, in the prolonged theoretical discussion on this issue, a dualistic-opposition thinking of institution and mind has taken shape between east and west. Especially in the modern course of gradual westernization of Chinese society and self-conscious updating of Chinese culture, the discourse monopoly has unintentionally shaped in which social justice be realized only by means of the rationality of social institutions. This tendency deliberately cuts off the close link between institutional arrangement and human moral consciousness and completely ignores the great importance of moral consciousness of people as historical subjects to social justice. At present, it is theoretically necessary and obligatory that more attention be paid to the significance of human moral consciousness to social justice and its realization to assure the scientific rationality of institutional arrangement and rational self-consciousness of moral sense.
