Abstract:
Most scholars say “Yes” to Mao Zedong's onesided international strategy, but Few of them have ever noticed the negative effects of this strategy. In fact, it was just the negative effects of the strategy that led to Mao's abandoning his theory of the Neodemocratist period and introducing the theory and practice of the transitional period. Hence the situation of wholesomely learning from Soviet socialist model took shape. Mao chose to do so primarily because of pressure from Soviet, which resulted in serious losses to socialist construction in our country.
