Abstract:
Contemplativeness is a concentrative summary of the style of Du Pu's poetry. However, people don't agree in understanding of the word “contemplativeness” and some potential meanings of the term fail to be explored. In fact, the style of contemplativeness refers just to such characteristics of Du's poetry as deep thought, strong emotion, tragic sense, tender feelings, implicit comfort and nostalgia.
