Abstract:
Dynamic evaluation is a new means of intelligence evaluation that rose in the Western countries during the past two or three decades. Dynamic evaluation enquires into the theoretical supposition of traditional static evaluation and criticizes its testing methods in attempt to make up and correct for its demerits. Based on a developmental view of intelligence, this evaluation aims to evaluate the learning potential of the participant and promote a change of his cognitive mechanism. Dynamic evaluation emphasizes effects of social culture, and non-intelligent factors on the individual’s learning potential. Hence its more accurate and more effective evaluation of the individual’s learning potential than the traditional testing.
