Abstract:
Modern patriotism is characteristic of a marriage between Oriental scholarship and Occident scholarship in terms of culture. The marriage between Oriental scholarship and Occident scholarship is an objective demand of general interaction of different national cultures under the natural tendency of “history turning into a global history”, a necessary result from the historical law of civilization against conquest, and a current damand of carrying out the historical mission of saving the nation from being conquered. The basic experience from the marriage between Oriental scholarship and Occident scholarship can be summarized as following the historical trend, taking into account the overall situation of China, and maintain the stand and synthetic innovation.
