Abstract:
According to the basic consideration to maintain the goal of the broad Chinese people’s survival and development, the plan of building a “harmonious society” is proposed on the basis of deeply reflecting the traditional values of organizing the public life with an attempt to establish the awareness of “publicity” as a self-conscious behaviour of the whole society. The essential internal implicature of “harmonious society” is a coordinate development between free men and orderly society and its practical philosophic basis lies in modern “cooperative mind”. In this sense, the aim of building a “harmonious society” depends upon developing a common “public spirit” and self-consciously building up a belief of social publicity.
