Abstract:
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization has been established for 20 years. Human exchange and cooperation have been foundation stones of its construction and development，which explored the theoretical sublimation through practice, so that a comprehensive and trans-regional cooperative organization involving many countries, diverse ethnic groups, multiple religions, multiple languages and multicultural groups has developed into a constructive force for the healthy development of the international order and has created a new model of international relations. Building a “Humanistic Community” is condensed as one of the core themes of the “Shanghai Cooperation Organization Community of Shared Future”, enriching the meaning of the times of the “Community of Shared Future for Mankind”. The construction of the “Belt and Road” provides a more pragmatic path to practice. The new starting point in world history is superimposed on the global epidemic, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is facing the construction of internal mechanisms and resistance to external infiltration and intervention to meet the challenge of “civilized hegemony”.Based on reviewing the historical achievements of the SCO’s human exchanges, this article proposes anticipatory thinking on how to coordinate the differences among member states through civilized exchanges and mutual learning, and improving their ability to act on the international stage.
