Abstract:
The international pattern has accelerated its evolution in the 21st century, and new global problems have been constantly emerging and accumulating. In response to the spread of global crises such as terrorism, nuclear proliferation, refugee crisis, climate change, and the spread of diseases, the existing global governance system has almost “lost its driving force”. The effectiveness of global governance under the leadership of western countries has been questioned by many parties and has fallen into stagnation.It is imperative to promote the reform of the global governance system. In the face of the unprecedented changes in a century, human beings should not only address the enormous pressure of global financial, development and ecological problems, but also the sudden outbreak of COVID-19 which has accelerated the disorder of the international order. In this international environment, the world is facing greater instability and uncertainty, and the reform of the global governance system is at a historic turning point. China is an important force to promote and lead the reform of global governance system, so as to build a community of shared future for mankind and lead the world to a new governance pattern.
