Abstract:
The construction of “famous schools” in elementary education is the key point of the balanced development of national education. In this paper, we regard the conception of “famous schools” as a multichanging systematic text from the perspective of the “intertextuality” theory. And we put forward a new framework with four dimensions, which are the historical dimension, the synchronic dimension, the social dimension and the generative dimension, to discuss some basic problems. As a result, we think firstly the intertextual relationship between the “historical text of famous schools” and the “historical text of modern education” can reveal the core spirit of “famous schools”. Secondly, the reinterpretation of the “discourse text” which is from the school’s main groups is the motive power for “famous schools” to develop continuously. Thirdly, the function of the “policy text” and the “civil text” can decide the social positioning and responsibility of “famous schools”. At last, the reconstruction of the “famous school text” in different environments is the effectual way to solve the shortage of high quality resources in the balanced development of elementary education.
