Abstract:
Qingliang mountain in Yan’an was a special space for the development and dissemination of the Yan’an revolutionary culture and a specific platform for the practice of Marxist theory in China from 1937—1945. Because of its history as a base for revolutionary education, Qingliang mountain nowadays still represents a space for people to review revolutionary history and memory, keeping up a deep understanding of the great significance of the Communist Party of China’s realization of revolutionary enlightenment and national salvation in the special war and cultural environment of the Yan’an period. This article regards Qingliang Mountain as a space medium, preserving and carrying the most vivid, lively and precious historical memory of the Yan’an period. While it has become the most vivid symbol of Yan’an spirit and Yan’an journalism and communication, it also gradually enriches and expands its media connotation through continuous space production in other dimensions.
