Abstract:
“The Belt and Road” Initiative is a major measure for China’s full participation in international economic cooperation in the new era. It is also an international public product that China has provided, and it will inevitably need corresponding institutional arrangements, supply, and innovation. While making full use of the current international economic and legal system, China should promote highlevel regional trade agreements and bilateral investment protection agreements in a timely manner, constantly improve the AIIB’s legal rules, and actively explore specialized dispute resolution mechanisms that apply to “the Belt and Road” cases.
