Abstract:
The US “301 Investigation” on China has a relatively special background. The antiglobalization trend has risen globally, and the United States under the Trump administration is increasingly moving towards unilateralism and conservatism. Affected by this, the “301 Investigation” is different from previous investigations.Although it is based on intellectual property rights, the goal is not limited to this.Compared with the previous five “301 Investigations” against China, the current US government is more hostile to China.This investigation is actually one of the American combination punches with China. Looking at its trend, the SinoUS trade war triggered by the investigation may not only evolve into a protracted war, but also the danger of continuing to escalate and spread to other areas. Its development trend is related to the future trend of the current world against globalization, and will also be affected by changes in the domestic political situation in the United States.
